# BitriPay > Send, receive and accept money with a QR code. Wallets, virtual cards, mobile money, bank transfers, agents and remittance that work for market traders, moto-taxi riders and businesses alike. BitriPay is a digital wallet and payment platform built so that anyone with a phone can be paid and can pay: a mother selling food at the market, a moto-taxi rider collecting fares, a corner shop, an agent with cash, and families sending money home. Money moves by QR code, @tag, phone number, bank transfer, mobile money and cash agents. Balances are electronic money backed 1:1 by safeguarded funds where the platform is authorised; sandbox balances carry no real-world value. Mobile-money payouts are executed from prefunded local accounts and settled only on verified operator confirmations. Fees and exchange rates are shown before every payment. ## Key pages - [Home](https://bitripay.com/): product overview - [Open an account](https://bitripay.com/register) - [About us](https://bitripay.com/about): mission and who we build for - [Fees & charges](https://bitripay.com/legal/fees) - [Security](https://bitripay.com/legal/security) - [Safeguarding of funds](https://bitripay.com/legal/safeguarding) - [Regulatory information](https://bitripay.com/legal/regulatory) - [Privacy policy](https://bitripay.com/legal/privacy) - [Terms of service](https://bitripay.com/legal/terms) - [Blog](https://bitripay.com/blog) · [RSS](https://bitripay.com/feed.xml) · [Sitemap](https://bitripay.com/sitemap.xml) ## Articles - [Virtual cards for online shopping without a bank card](https://bitripay.com/blog/virtual-cards-online-shopping-without-bank-card): A BitriPay virtual card lets you pay online, subscribe to services and shop at BitriPay merchants from your wallet balance, with a card you can freeze, refill or close in a tap. - [Mobile money agents: how the float works and how to stay liquid](https://bitripay.com/blog/mobile-money-agents-float-and-liquidity): An agent is the bank in a place that has none.
